Rushed service. Good but not great food. Clean and Modern decor. Off the beaten track location. Our experience here was terribly disappointing from the moment we arrived at the front stoop. The owner Elizabeth was in front of the door and from the moment she saw us we sensed some hostility. I am not sure if it was because we had toddler or perhaps a little something deeper, more bitter. She hardly stepped out of the way. What was most upsetting was that the owner was not happy with us being there. At one point when I took my son out of the restaurant so as not to disturb the patrons, the owner walked over to my wife and in a politically correct way suggested that we were holding up the kitchen because I haven't yet eaten my appetizer. We have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is the first time I was told to hurry up. This is unacceptable as I made every effort to ensure that the patrons of the restaurant were not disturbed by my son. I don't know what her issue was but this was uncalled for. This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant for sometime. When we entered we were seated right away as I did have reservations and were right on time. The Amuse-bouche was an underwhelming hummus that did not inspire us. The waiter recommended a red wine from California but he did not know the appellation nor the vintage. I am not familiar with Maine shrimp and ordered it thinking that they would be larger than my fingernail but alas I was thinking too much. To its credit my wife liked it. For an entree I ordered the Lobster and risotto which was delicious. This was clearly my favorite part of the night. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the lobster was delicious. However as parents of toddlers would know, dessert is generally not an option given the energy levels of a toddler boy.

Amazing. Easily among the best dining experiences on MDI. We've been a few times and will keep going back, Red Sky never disappoints. They offer a fine dining experience in an approachable and comfortable setting. We brought some friends this time, and from the moment we walked through the door the waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, the bartender poured us a few spot on cocktails for our short wait. The Ribeye, Sole Beurre Blanc, and Raviolis were all delicious and expertly prepared. The owner stopped by to check on our experience (as she seems to do with most tables), and the gingerbread dessert was a perfect finish.

Outstanding. It's places like this that give you an appreciation for the hard work and creativity that go into a serious commitment to food. You wouldn't go to Southwest Harbor without a purpose, but this might be a purpose worth having. On the night I was there, they offered an off-menu duck egg frittata, which was crazy good. "The farm called us and wanted to know if we could use some duck eggs". They could and they did.

Food was good- service was exceptional - seafood focus (duh southwest harbor) had the ribeye, medium and was cooked perfect. Adequate portions of food. I would go back.

This was our last dinner in Southeast Harbor, so sad for us. We wanted it to be special and it was! The service staff are particular and attentive. We were seated right away (reservations are a must). I liked that they were offering a house wine that evening and a taste was offered. It was a red blend from Portugal and we loved it. A small crock of hummus and crackers were. Brought to the table with our wine, a nice touch. Appetizers were a hard choice, but we settled on the smoked salmon and the lobster cocktail. Impressive. Some of the best smoked salmon I've ever had. A basket of homemade bread with delicious butter (I never eat butter but we are in Maine) and they were not stingy with it. I didn't want another glass of wine but did want a bit for dinner so they were happy to oblige us with a half glass. Love that. My scallops were browned and cooked perfectly. The sauce was not overwhelming and the broccoli and rice that accompanied were nicely prepared but didn't take away from the main dish. My husbands duck was absolute perfection. Sliced thick Breat meat, medium per his request and fresh cranberry coulis. Last but not least a crime brûlée that was small (good for us as we are not dessert people) and it just finished off a grand dinner. Red Sky, hands down, continues to be the best restaurant on the island.

Wow! What a find, hubby had mussels appetizer- local. Fresh, cooked perfectly. The beet salad was incredible. All of it local and amazing. The lobster risotto was wonderful, and the peekytoe crab cakes were good. I still can't find crab as sweet as Chesapeake Bay blues, no matter what Thomas Keller and the rest of the famous chefs say about it. Had the chocolate Pudding for dessert and it was fabulous. Service was impeccable and friendly. Will go back.

The decor is very nice with lots of local art work hanging from the walls. Shortly after being seated we received our menus followed by an amuse bouche of smoked salmon mousse with crostini. A basket of warm, crusty bread arrived shortly before our shared appetizer of crispy polenta with sauteed oyster mushrooms and Swiss chard finished with a balsamic reduction and Parmesan Reggiano. For an entree, my wife chose seared sea scallops finished with an orange and Grand Mariner sauce that was accompanied by basmati rice with almonds and scallions. My entree was a lasagna - house made pasta, acorn squash, sauteed kale and onion with a roasted tomato and pepper sauce plus a basil and almond pesto. The pasta was so light that it literally melted in my mouth. Service throughout was attentive without being overbearing.

Ate here last night. Lobster risotto was good but the was not as creamy as it could have been. Lamb taco appetizer was a bit over salted. The salmon however was perfection. Well seasoned and deliciously cooked. Drink service was top notch. We will eat here again!

Returned again for first time this year. Overall a good, solid neighborhood restaurant. Menu not particularly creative, but plenty of nice options and everything very fresh and local. Excellent crab cakes, salmon good though bit plain, salad nice with local greens. Service attentive, prices reasonable, decor pleasant, wine list short but decent and reasonable. Not a knock-em-out-of-the-park place, but quite good. See also my revises this same trip for Havana, Mâché Bistro, and Burning Tree.

Off the beaten path of Bar Harbor, and so glad we went. Started with a delicious mint Martini....nicely chilled. Duck and pork sausage appetizer...with wonderful bread, great crust. Split a luscious crab cake w my wife, my daughter had a wonderful lasagne. Finished with butter cake with crime fraische and blueberries (of course). Worth the price of admission, nice job folks.

After a week of camping, hiking and biking at Acadia, we decided to get a great meal before we left. From the decor to the food to the drinks to the service, every aspect of the meal was awesome. You definitely need a reservation, so be sure to call ahead.

This Resturant is a must while you are in the Mt. Desert, Maine area. The food and service outstanding. I had the salmon which I believe is the best salmon I have had anywhere. My husband had the Maine ribeye steak, he said it was the best rib eye steak he has had! The hostess was so lovely and friendly. Our server was right on target, great service with out being intrufuces. I would say this was " A great dining experience". We go here each year during our two stay on Mt. Desert, I only wished it was closer to our home!

My wife and I went to Red Sky for her birthday. It started off great but quickly went downhill. We sampled wine and ordered our food. We ordered the quail and mussels as an appetizer. Both were good and flavorful. Then I asked a waitress a simple question about the wine list, "are these the only reds you have by the glass?" She quickly responded with "ask your waitress". Instead of finding our waitress she stood against the wall for the next 5 minutes. 1 hour and 25 minutes later, my steak and wife's dinner salad finally arrives. My steak was cooked perfectly, but my wife's salad was not. More than half of the sliced steak was nothing but gristle and fat. I told the waitress and she just looked at me with a blank faced grin. We paid the check and left. We will NEVER go back. This place could be better if the staff is trained to know the menu and chef understands quality control before it goes out.

Went there for our wedding anniversary and had an excellent meal. I had the lobster appetizer and my husband had the duck &pork sausage, both great. We each had crab cakes for dinner, which were amazing: very light on the breading and rich on delicious crab. Dessert was also great, and the wine list is quite good. A word of caution, though - this is the kind of restaurant where everything is made to order and the pace of the meal is relaxed. It was perfect for us, and exactly what I expect at this caliber restaurant, but I did see another patron get quite upset at what they considered 'slow' service. For us, it was a perfect meal!

Probably the most disappointing dining experience of my life. This was our 4th Maine vacation. Every time we come to Bar Harbor we have a few favorite places we have to go to and we always try a few new ones too. We had first dined at Red Sky 2 years ago. We had my step - children with us. At the time they were 12 and 13. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Appetizers, entrees and desser. Service was top notch. In fact on our way out of the restaurant our server complimented us on how well behaved and pleasant the kids were. We left with such smiles on our faces and an eagerness to return. We called Thursday and were told they were completely booked but there were openings for Friday. No problem. Our last night of vacation, why not go back to the restaurant we had such fond memories of? We arrived a few minutes before our 5:30 reservation. We waited outside for the restaurant to open and once it did we were seated promptly. Our waitress was all smiles as she greeted us with a salmon mousse and toasted bread. We asked for recommendations from the menu of which she gave several. We ordered within 10 minutes of being seated. All 4 of us ordered appetizers: quail, mussels, lamb taco, duck and pork sausage. My husband and I both ordered the lobster and risotto for dinner as well as a bottle of wine to share. My step son ordered the crab cakes and my step daughter ordered the salmon. They both ordered homemade blueberry soda to drink Appetizers arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. Everything was cooked well. The taco was bursting with flavor. The other 3 items were passable, but not anything that exciting. After our appetizers were finished we waited almost an hour for our entrées. Not once did the waitress come back to let us know the status, to apologize for the delay or even to check in on us. When the food finally did come there was no mention of the wait. It was just dropped off and left. The lobster was well cooked and there was a generous portion. The risotto was a bit bland and fell short of expectation. The salmon was well cooked with a very flavorful sauce. The crab cakes were "ok, but not great." We finally finished eating almost 2 hours after we were seated. We normally like to enjoy coffee and dessert after a meal but felt so rushed because we were holding up the next seating - as if it was our fault the food and service were so slow. The hostess couldn't drop off our check fast enough. We did manage to get coffee, but declined dessert for the sheer fact I didn't want to give them anymore of my money. $250 for a dinner for 4 with terrible service and mediocre food? Great showing for a Friday night. We'll pass next time.

So after days of sleeping in a tent down in the Seawall Campground and eating out of a cooler in the back of the car in between hikes in Acadia, I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a birthday dinner that was a change of pace from the past few days. I found about Red Sky through Yelp, searching for "fancy dinner" near SW Harbor. We LOVED it! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, very professional. We were seated promptly on a busy night and waited on shortly after. My mixed drink was awesome and my girlfriend loved the wine that was suggested by our waitress (a malbec I think...she's the wine person, not me). Very tasty and well-presented quail appetizer, as were both our main dishes. I had the lobster risotto, which was chock full of big chunks of lobster and the risotto was cooked to my liking...and I regularly bitch about under/over cooked risotto. Girlfriend had the duck, which was also just about as perfect as one could ask for. This was back in early June, so I know I'm forgetting the second appetizer we had and probably leaving out other details, but everything about the experience was what we had hoped for and then some. Highly recommended!

I absolutely adore Red Sky. I have frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions, however this last experience was exceptionally delightful! From the service and the ambiance to the flavor and finesse, this restaurant raises the bar in terms of culinary standards upon the island. Superb job Elizabeth and James; you have given me a true indulgence here on MDI. Thank You.

Just a delightful dinner. Very nicely presented dishes. My halibut was over cooked, but was fresh and tasty nevertheless. The reason for the five stars was my wife's crab cakes. Might be the best crab cakes we've ever had. Almost no filler and all amazing crab meat. In addition we had the most creative cocktails. Rum made here on MDI. Black cherry infused vodka. The nicest dining experience of our week in Southwest Harbor. Very nicely done. If we are ever back, we will go here for sure. It is not to be missed.

The service was pretty good, but the food was just okay, especially for the value. My fiancé had the duck and loved it. I had the New York strip which was kind of tough and grisly. Our appetizers were decent...the polenta and the baked potato soup. My raspberry sorbet was excellent, but he had the sweet bite for dessert and was disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely, but it was very chilly in the dining room. A 4 star rating is on the generous side. We've been to some amazing 5 star restaurants which were a much better value.

My husband and I recently escaped for a date and were lucky enough to find ourselves at Red Sky. We sat at the bar to share a duck salad (my husband swore he wouldn't eat duck, but after coercing him he loved it!), the short ribs, and They feature very fresh and local foods and all of the staff is

I went here to celebrate my mothers 65th birthday. We walked in on a Wednesday night and got seated no problem without a reservation (it was Wednesday night) but the restaurant filled up quickly. I'd make reservations next time. The hostess introduced a special wine and let us all taste it and it was good. Another server brought over a chickpea (read hummus) spread and bread crisps, the spread was somewhat bland we added salt and that helped. The polenta appetizer with mushrooms and kale and good. It had. Balsamic reduction that was tasty, but they used a bit too much of it. The mushroom soup was fantastic and not cream based! Two of the three entrées were fantastic. My dad had pokeye Crabcakes which he thought were absolutely perfect! My mom had scallops over rice and beans and she enjoyed those! I had the lobster with risotto, which wasn't that great. The lobster was very tough and small and the risotto was more like rice with mushrooms. We got a dessert from the specials, a pastry with lemon curd and fresh wild blueberries, this was a let down. The lemon curd was barley lemoney and the pastry seemed like it came out of a box/was frozen. The wild blueberries were delicious though! I gave it a 3 because the service wasn't bad but it wasn't fantastic. For a restaurant with white table cloths I expected better service.

Red Sky is a terrific restaurant - the best in the Southwest Harbor area of MDI. The meal was delicious - quiet, great ambiance, staff also very friendly. It turns out the wife of the husband/wife team that owns the restaurant attended UW Wisconsin - Madison where we're from. It is expensive, but they take CC. Our meal cost was $131.75 plus tip. That includes 2 glasses of wine, a bottle of Pelligrino, and a Red Sky Cocktail ( a specialty of the house at $10.00. ) This drink is Not especially worth it for my money. If you a place for a special occasion or just an excellent dining experience this is the place for you.

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful meal. the service was incredible. the bartender as well as the owner James were very attentive and friendly. The food was simply delicious. one of the surprising highlights is the freshly made bread which has a salted crust and totally tastes like a freshly baked pretzel. So ridiculously yummy, i cannot express how good this bread is. you just have to go there and try it for yourself. this is a secret gem of a restaurant which i highly recommend you check out if you want a great meal in a relaxed though elegant atmosphere.

Most of food was good. The Restaurant was very loud. The service was good. The mushroom risotto was too heavy and earthy when paired with lobster... sweet corn would have been better. Quail and mushroom soup were just ok. Crabcakes were very good... they let the crab be the star instead of drowning it in sauces or spices.

We had hands down the best meal of our week's stay on MDI at Red Sky, and that includes the highly recommended, but in my opinion, overrated, Mâche in Bar Harbor. We walked in without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening, but they were willing to accommodate us. My in-house smoked salmon appetizer was terrific. Ditto for the glazed scallops. Even the rice and beans that accompanied the scallops were flavorful. My dinner partner was equally enthusiastic about her crab cakes. I had the spicy gingerbread for dessert. It was the best gingerbread I have ever eaten, with lots of zing from the extra ginger in it. I would kill for the recipe, but they would probably have to kill me if they gave it to me. The service was excellent to boot. A memorable dinner.

I was so looking forward to a lovely dinner at Red Sky given all of the high ratings it has received. This restaurant does well because it has very little competition with a high demand. My husband and I had the lobster and risotto, which has drawn rave reviews. I'm not sure what these other people were eating but the dish we were given was best described as bad 1970s pilaf with a mound of rubbery lobster. Yes, the amount of lobster was generous, nearly inedible, but generous. It was served with very bitter out-of-season asparagus, because we all know a clear hallmark of an upscale dish is asparagus no matter what time of year it is. Our starters were better but not all that. My husband's mussels were tough and my fried quail was bland. Dessert was solid. They did have a nice wine list and service was good.

Over priced average food. What else can I say? It must not have been my night here. The service was just fine. However I think for the money it will cost you to eat here, it should be better - food wise. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Probably would not go back. There are better choices elsewhere.

My husband and I were staying in Southwest Harbor and had to try Red Sky before we left. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant and overall, the food was wonderful with some small room for improvement. We both got cocktails which were nicely made. They give you warm fresh bread with butter beforehand - yum! My husband and I both got the lobster risotto which was dynamite. Mine was a little cold but oh well. My husband got the creme brûlée for dessert and I got the gingerbread - his was very good, mine was so-so. Overall, really happy we stopped in.

Wonderful meal, wonderful ambiance. The lobster and risotto dish, while quite pricey, is not to be missed. The only thing that kept my review to 4 stars instead of 5 was the evening's substitution of sirloin for ribeye steak. Sirloin? Really? And with no reduction in price? There are better cuts of beef that could have been substituted. My husband declined the sirloin and opted for chicken instead, not something he normally would order in a restaurant. He enjoyed his meal but was disappointed.

Noteworthy is the service. The wait staff is well trained; attentive but never intrusive (we were not informed regarding our waitstaff's name). The setting was lively. The walls adorned with conversation starting art. A well stocked bar manned by a congenial barkeep was a site for some diners. We were moved from the bar area to our table which had fresh flowers. A tasty bite of a smoky fish mousse arrived to signal appreciation that we were dining at the Red Sky. We tried a salad of micro greens and an appetizer of crispy polenta. Both were still being remarked upon the next day. Red Sky has perfected dessert. We have frequently returned to their offering of ginger bread with caramel. We also sampled a special consisting of "a butter cake with raspberries. Good ( our favorite remains the gingerbread). As for their entrées; well, we've been happier in the past. The Red Sky was busy and, it was late in the season. But, we were a tad disappointed. We will return if for nothing other than that yummy gingerbread. You should dine at this well established favorite and when you are offered the dessert menu linger over the possibility of trying...well you know

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to trying this place. We made an 8:30 reservation, and arrived 5 minutes early. We were told our table wasn't ready for us yet, so we grabbed seats at the bar. The bartender asked if we were just ordering drinks, and gave us the menu. 20 minutes later, the bartender came by to take our drink order. We waited another 10 minutes, and was told our table was ready, so we canceled the drinks. You'd think service would improve once we sat down, but we waited 10 more minutes for our waitress to come over. We ordered the smoked salmon and a salad as appetizers. They came after a few minutes of waiting. Following the first course, we waited another at least another 20 minutes for our entrees. In the meantime, the couple next to us had already been served and eaten both of their courses. We ordered the lobster risotto, which was good. For dessert, we both had the creme brûlée, which was clearly made hours before as the burnt sugar was soft, and the custard cold. Throughout our meal our waitress was MIA. Only the busboys were attentive. There are only 14 tables in the place, and they appeared to have plenty of help, so I'm not sure what the issue was. The food at this place is fine, nothing to write home about. I'd say the other reviews are seriously overhyped.

I'm a bit biased, my boyfriend having worked here, thus having a personal relationship with the owners. That being said, this is definitely the best restaurant on Mount Desert Island, easily the best in Maine, and certainly one of the top restaurants in New England. We recently went back to visit and had another stellar experience. The chicken liver pâté with red onion jam was an impeccable delight, and the lobster on risotto was out of this world. Their food is always superb. Even the complimentary bread is worth gorging on. The Red Sky cocktail is a must-have: raspberry sorbet and Champagne.

A fabulous option if you're vacationing on Mt Desert. Very nice, but simple/casual ambiance. Seems like the tourist tripe hordes mostly skip this place. I had an absolutely fabulous lobster and risotto dinner. Perfectly done - not a chemistry test in how much butter and salt risotto can absorb (as it is usually done). The appetizers were solid. I took one star off for a less-than-fabulous minted martini. A great cocktail would have put this place over the top. Also the service was a touch slow. Looked like they were down a waiter for the night. Comes in a close second on the island to Havana.

The crispy Polenta is amazing! Tons of flavor! Service was excellent....it was packed for dinner so we ate at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and informative on menu items and wine recommendations. He let us try tastings before we ordered wine! The beet salad was also exceptional.

  • Judy P.

Fine dining, leisurely-paced service - nice pause between courses. Outside may seem off-putting - decor is much nicer inside. I had the pasta and green salad - very nice, I ante something light, and the entree was that and flavorful - my husband had the chilled beet soup and duck breast and he enjoyed both. Nice Pinot noir by the glass, my husband liked his bourbon cocktail. If you go and must be finished dining by a certain time - plan accordingly. We enjoyed the leisurely pace and allotted enough time to get to a local theater - but he man next to us was in a rage about the delay in his order, and almost marched into the kitchen.

We walked into Red Sky at a little after 8pm on a Wednesday without a reservation and were lucky to be seated in around five minutes. The place was hopping and people kept pouring in over the next hour. The staff and owner were gracious and welcoming and the food was excellent, featuring local ingredients. If was our best dining experience on MDI.

Equals very fine meals I've had in NYC, LA and Austin. Everything was excellent: lobster with risotto, haddock, baby kale salad, smoked salmon starter with house-made crackers, house-made raspberry sorbet with dark chocolate sauce. Service attentive. Manager even gave our car a boost when we found our battery dead after dinner! We went back for this second dinner after we'd had our first wonderful dinner of scallops and lobster with risotto--wish we had time to go yet again! This restaurant was a culinary highlight of our month in Maine.

Due to positive Yelp recommendations, we eagerly anticpated our reservation at the Red Sky. The food was amazing, however, our server was dissapointing which did affect our dining experience. It was frustrating that other tables' servers were attentive to their patrons while we had to flag our server down and didn't receive our second round of wine and beer until we were almost finished with out dinner.

  • Caitlin G.

This place gets great reviews here on Yelp, so perhaps this was an off night, but we had a very uneventful experience. The service and the decor were great, as was the first mojito, but after that everything was subpar. It all looked delicious in writing but not one dish lived up to its description on the menu besides the cheese plate. The ones that were particularly bad were the lobster 'chowder', which was essentially runoff water from a docked boat in the harbor that had a drop of cream added to it, and the scallops, which were overcooked. It just didn't pack the punch that it should have for the price, nothing stood out in a good way. Seasoning and salt and pepper would have made a difference in all of the plates.

Still an excellent choice if your on Mount Desert, however I think last year we were so dazzled, this year I was not as impressed. I am taking away .5 star from last year since I feel the meal was good, but not as amazing as the year prior. The service is always excellent and the bar items are always worth the crazy price they attach to it, but I really feel its time to change up the menu a bit. For a place that serves locally grown food, why not utilize this to your advantage and make some changes. I cant come back every summer here for the same scallop dish, with jasmine rice and amazing flavor.

Very good and classy option in Southwest Harbor. The servers seemed a bit green (perhaps because it was the beginning of the season). Our dishes were good - some better than others. The quail was excellent. The salmon entree and gingerbread dessert were a bit less so.

Terrific meal! Ate there while on our honeymoon. Everyone was VERY attentive (but not annoying). Best homemade bread - comes to table very warm with lovely butter. Our meals were great in every way. Maine Shrimp over puff pastry as an app and Lobster and Risotto and Crab Cakes for our meal. Definitely recommend. Lovely, quiet, calm atmosphere.

This is a restaurant with a wonderfully eclectic menu. Loads to choose from, sort of euro/ californian. Excellent service, and really great wines of the day. Every one at our table wanted a different glass of wine because of their entrees. All round a truly great experience.

Two couples and all four entrees were wonderful. The wine list was reasonable. This is the best option for dinner in Southwest Harbor. Service was just right, waitress was clearly experienced and understood how much attention we needed. Need reservation, even midweek.

Wonderful dinner at the bar. We didn't have reservations, so we just sat there. Met some nice folks, which enriched the evening. I had a great starter of polenta, followed by heavenly lobster risotto and chocolate "pudding" which is sort of like a mousse. My date had the pate followed by lamb chops. We had a lovely red wine recommended as the special. Next time, we will reserve. And there will definitely be a next time. We had a hard time choosing and everything looked very good.

Red Sky was the best dinner we had while visiting Acadia. We came to Mt. Desert Island after several days eating in Portland, so we did have lowered expectations (and are adding stars with that understanding), but really enjoyed our dinner there tonight. We ordered the house-made sausage and mustard appetizer as well as the polenta/beet greens appetizer, and then enjoyed duck and their tagliatelle pasta and a small cheese plate. Might be the best restaurant on the island.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. On the night we visited, a freshly harvested wild mushroom (hen of the woods) was featured. Local, seasonal food was the theme overall, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Nice wine and beer selections.

  • Ruth J.

My husband and I had a very nice dinner here. We thought the menu was interesting, with lots of local, fresh ingredients. Our meals were delicious. We shared several plates, and the staff was very gracious and accommodating. We came to Maine to kayak, hike, and enjoy the beauty, but being from Sonoma County, CA, the quality of the wine list is always a big deal when we eat dinner out. We thought the wine list was great, with reaonable bottle and even half bottle options, at good prices. I would definetly go back, and would certainly recommend this restaurant to others.

In my view, consistently the best restaurant on Mount Desert Island. It's locally-owned, includes a lot of local ingredients in everything it does, has a very friendly staff and -- most importantly -- serves up excellent food. Over the Memorial Day weekend, went with the family -- our selections included a lobster risotto, duck breast, and a creative salad/pasta main course. The wine list is reasonably broad and fairly priced. All the deserts were good; the cinnamon-sherry ice cream was spectacular. I'd happily go hear just to support a local business when I'm on the Island, but for anyone visiting the Bar Harbor area, its worth a drive to the "quietside" of the Island for this wonderful treat!
